Architect Phil Swain is preparing plans for a 15,000 sq ft

There is nothing new to report on the property line issue on
the Chapel campus. The Studio building was burglarized recently and the lock has
been changed. Components of our public address system were stolen.
La Reunion
2006
Janet Marcus prepared and distributed an evaluative report
on our 25th anniversary La Reunion event in February. She reminded
us that the co-chairs of the event are “retiring” after many successful years
of leading this signature event, and that new leadership will need to take on
this project. There is general agreement that we need to continue this
celebration of our history. The group
discussed many ideas of ways to continue the event with perhaps a few
modifications to our current format. Mark Clark offered to assist with
strategizing about this event.
Property
issues
On March 29th, the City approved all variances
OFLNA requested for San Pedro Chapel property, so we can move to the next steps
for construction of the Chapel support building.
Neighbor Jack de Pagter stated his views on a number of
concerns he has about the support building plans. The OFLNA subcommittee (Larry
Hecker, Bill Anderson and Demion Clinco) that was formed to investigate these
issues will follow up with the de Pagters as soon as possible.
