Ft Lowell Rd.
Several years ago Ft. Lowell
Rd. was changed from a "feeder" street to a neighborhood street.
This change allowed for the creation of the "enhancement" project
completed in April of 2003.
200 new trees and 130 bushes were planted. 100 of these trees were purchased
by residents and are designated with ceramic plaques on steel posts. The types
of trees planted were Mesquite, Acacia and Desert Willow. Irrigation was installed
to feed these new trees with reclaimed water.
